My name is Jennifer, and my greatest hope is to grow, and provide a loving, stable home for my future daughter . This dream has been at the center of my heart for a long time, but this path has been filled with unexpected challenges.

Recently, a severe car accident left me with significant injuries, requiring me to attend medical appointments three times a week. As an independent worker, my car is essential not only for my livelihood but for managing the demands of daily life and the rigorous appointments that come with pursuing treatments. The accident has left my vehicle unusable and has created a financial crisis, causing me to fall behind on bills and now face urgent housing insecurity with my daughter. The emotional weight of balancing recovery & stability, has definitely been a journey since the accident. I have recently been offered a remote position, which will allow me to work from home. Although this will help me in the future, it is not an immediate fix to help us save our home. But it will offer stability after, if we are able to get the assistance with clearing the past due balance one hour home.
